Meet Blair

I’ve been in the events world since I was the person behind the scenes making things happen — and I’ve been hooked ever since.

I founded Blair Allen Events (formerly BAM Events) in 2015 with a simple belief: planning a wedding should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Today, I specialize in creating elevated, highly personalized celebrations throughout Boston, Newport, Cape Cod, and beyond, with a particular love for tented weddings and the beautiful blank canvas they provide.

But great planning is about so much more than timelines and pretty details. It’s knowing what questions to ask, anticipating the things you haven’t thought of yet, keeping a million moving pieces organized, and knowing exactly what to do when something inevitably doesn’t go according to plan. After more than a decade in the events industry, I’ve learned how to make complicated look easy and I genuinely love doing it.

My career started in catering, where I learned the importance of hospitality from the ground up. Since then, I’ve grown from working behind the scenes to building my own business and becoming a leader in the New England events community. I’ve served on the board of the International Live Events Association (ILEA) for nearly a decade and served as chapter president twice, including during the pandemic. That experience shaped the way I lead, collaborate, and advocate for our industry.

At the end of the day, the part I love most is the people. I get to work with couples who have big ideas, busy lives, strong opinions, and a vision for a really great party — and I get to turn all of that into a wedding that feels completely, unmistakably theirs.
